The month of November is normally marked in Dumaguete’s calendar as among the busiest months of the year because of its Sandurot Festival.
This feast of Dumaguete City — capital of Negros Oriental — is celebrated every 25th of November. It also being held together with the city’s Charter Day.
Sandurot came from the Visayan term “pakig-sandurot” for the offering and enjoyment of hospitality. This festival is a celebration of the trait of Dumagueteños, especially in welcoming visitors to their city.
Activities for the 2007 Sandurot Festival however will kick off early November. …
