The owners

This site is a handiwork of Patrick Lasola and Joy Flores.

Patrick, 29, works as an IT staff in one of the well-known hotels in Dumaguete City. The 28-year-old Joy on the other hand is a journalist based in Manila.

Both share interests on the web and this motivated them to create a lifestyle blog that will focus on Dumaguete City and its nearby islands. Taking this venture of blogging allows the owners of this site to learn more on the web’s latest trend, which both could use in their respective fields.

As partners, Patrick and Joy are extremely opposite. It is almost a wonder how they got together. They differ in opinions, attitude, and even preferences. Would you imagine they can’t even agree on what to eat — the other loves seafoods while the other prefers meat.

He is silent while she can’t stop talking. He is unpredictable while she speaks her mind. He is very patient while she hates waiting. He is calm when caught in tough times while she finds difficulty controlling her emotions. He is fond of making jokes while she takes things seriously. He has a tendency to forget while she remembers almost every detail.

And not just that…

He watches movies a lot while she could survive not watching a movie. He hates reading books while she could be in her bedroom and spend her time reading. He can just stare at some waterfalls while she can’t resist the enticing falls.
